Dr. Cathy Cira
Dr. Cathy Cira was born in Billerica, Massachusetts, moved to Santa Barbara and then settled in Belmont in 1979. Dr. Cira was having unrelenting upper back pain when she was 9 years old and was diagnosed with scoliosis. Dr. Cira was very lucky and was able to get treated by a chiropractor at a young age and got amazing results with her care. She enjoyed the process and results so much that by the time she was in high school she decided that she should be a Chiropractor. Dr. Cira wanted to help others and pursued the requirements to go to Chiropractic school. Dr. Cira graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1993 and established her own Chiropractic office in 1996 at it’s current location in San Carlos.
Dr. Cira has been happily married to her husband, Pat, since 2001. She has 3 vibrant children a lovable Labrador named Charlie Brown and a mean cat, Pepper.
Dr. Cira loves living healthy and teaching others. She is passionate about healthy food from traditional sources, exercise and spending quality time with her family venturing around California.
Sophia Santopadre grew up in Lousiana and upstate New York. Sophia and her husband made the move to California after Hurricane Katrina damaged their home in New Orleans. Sophia and her husband settled in Redwood City in September of 2005. Sophia has worked for Sequoia Emmergency Room in admitting and for a local gastroenterologist.
In 2012, Sophia began working at Cira Chiropractic and has quickly adapted to healthy eating, exercise and gets her weekly chiropractic adjustments. Sophia lives with her husband, Kurt, 4 dogs, 2 cats and 3 chickens. Sophia loves her big beautiful organic garden and spends long weekends fixing up her house and maintaining the garden.
Jeannie Greer, Massage Therapist
Jeannie Greer was born and raised in Hawaii. Jeannie moved to the San Francisco area in 1967 and graduated from Aragon High School. Jeannie had a successful career in the communications field for several years, but always wanted to help people in the Health field. Jeannie was blessed with the ability to develop a second career and pursued massage therapy. She has since furthered her knowledge by doing extensive training of Orthopedic Massage Therapy at the Hendrickson Method Institution in Berkeley, CA, acupressure with Janet Oliver at Body Therapy Center and Orthobionomy with Jim Berns. Jeannie is a member of the California Massage Therapy Council.
Jeannie is also a certified Horticulturist, has trained several birds of prey, is extensively trained in the fiber arts and is a licensed esthetician.
Jeannie lives in San Carlos with her two cats, Scarlet and Roxy. She enjoys time with her friends, healthy eating, pilates, gardening, decorating her home and can make anything beautiful out of clay, yarn, beads and charcoal.
